SpecificitiesChronographe Tachymetre Speedy Tuesday Tintin, état Unworn, Full Set
Omega Speedmaster Professional Speedy Tuesday Tintin Limited Edition Full-Set (2017), featuring a black Professional Moonwatch dial and a tachymeter scale on the bezel. This is the iconic Omega chronograph from the space race era, in its “We walked on the Moon” version.
This 42mm chronograph, powered by the manual-winding Omega Calibre 1861, is the precursor to the now-legendary #SpeedyTuesday series. Initially launched at Baselworld in 2013, production was halted the following year due to legal disputes with the rights holders of Hergé. Only a limited number were delivered to select Omega retailers. As a true collector’s piece, this watch adopts the design codes of Hergé’s lunar rocket on a Speedmaster dial with a racing-style minute track, housed in a large Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch case. The caseback is engraved with red letters in a layout reminiscent of the classic Speedmaster inscriptions.
This highly original and sought-after watch is a true collector’s challenge—an instantly recognizable and distinctive model, widely appreciated by both male and female enthusiasts. Its very limited distribution and rarity on the market make it a fast-selling item whenever one surfaces.
