TAG Heuer Monaco Limited Edition ACM 2012, the Monaco Grand Prix special edition reference CAW211K.FC6311, specifically dedicated to the Automobile Club de Monaco. A legendary limited edition of just 1200 pieces celebrating the partnership between the two entities and TAG Heuer's designation as official timekeeper for the Monte Carlo Grand Prix and Rally.
This rare and meticulously crafted 48 mm model was originally designed to be gifted to VIP guests attending these events. It features the TAG Heuer Calibre 12, an automatic mechanical movement with 59 jewels, based on the Sellita SW300-1 with an added Dubois-Depraz 2008 chronograph module. The Calibre 12 runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a 40-hour power reserve, and includes a stop-second function for synchronizing the watch with a master clock or onboard instrument. It also features a date display at 3 o’clock on the dial. The dial is adorned with luminous dot hour markers on a circular minute track. Two square silver subdials with black markings and orange hands are positioned on the dial — the right one being a running seconds counter. The central chronograph hand is orange, and the hour and minute hands are steel with Luminova. The caseback includes a sapphire crystal offering a clear view of the movement in action.
To commemorate the partnership, TAG Heuer briefly added this limited edition to the Monaco collection in 2012, crafting it with an exceptionally high level of finish. The satin steel case and dial are enhanced by a raised, detailed, multicolored engraving of the Automobile Club de Monaco’s crest — a striking contrast against the dark dial background.
