Rolex Submariner No Date 14060M, full set with original box and papers, a 40 mm timepiece from 2005 whose production began in 1998 and ended in this version in 2007. In Rolex history, this model marks the first Submariner No Date to feature a sapphire crystal (following the plexiglass crystal reference 14060). It’s recognizable by its two-line dial indicating water resistance, providing a clean, highly legible layout.
This Rolex dive watch is powered by the Rolex 3130 movement with 31 jewels, enhancing its shock resistance. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a 48-hour power reserve when fully wound. The screw-down caseback and Triplock crown give the Rolex Submariner 14060M a water resistance rating of 300 meters (1000 ft). Featuring 20 mm lug width, the original 904L steel bracelet is fitted with a deployant clasp equipped with a Fliplock safety system and an extension link for wearing over a wetsuit. The bracelet comes with all original links (adjustable individually) and allows for finer adjustments via the deployant clasp bars.
A collector’s favorite, this model is widely considered one of the most sought-after watches in the world. The Rolex Submariner gained fame after being worn by actors and celebrities—most notably James Bond, portrayed by Sean Connery in the early films, followed by Roger Moore with his iconic Submariner 5513. With such a legacy, its value in the pre-owned market has surged over the past twenty years, and it remains one of the most appreciated timepieces today. Often the first Rolex acquired by enthusiasts and collectors, its vintage predecessors regularly achieve record prices at auctions and public sales.
This watch, sold as a complete set, is in near mint condition both functionally and aesthetically. It comes with a two-year warranty. You can explore the history of the Submariner in the Mostra-Mag (Watch History or Rolex Brand History), on the Mostra-Store blog, or discover the Submariner collection during temporary exhibitions at the Mostra boutique in Aix-en-Provence, located at 3 Place Forbin on the Cours Mirabeau.
