SpecificitiesModèle Four Lines, Certifié COSC. réserve de marche 48h, étanche 30 ATM.

Rolex Submariner vintage "Four Lines" full set from 1993. Diving watch with automatic movement and date display, featuring a black dial known as the “Four Lines,” referring to the four lines of text at the bottom of the dial that indicate the watch is equipped with the COSC-certified Rolex caliber 3135 chronometer movement from Geneva.
This model, reference 16610, was produced by Rolex between 1989 and 2010 and evolved over time: When it launched in 1989, the transitional 16610 featured a tritium dial with pierced lug holes. Starting in 2003, the dial adopted Superluminova indices and solid lugs. The model was later fitted with a solid-link bracelet and came with updated paperwork, including a warranty card instead of the older perforated paper certificate. Finally, in 2008, during the last two years of production, the Submariner received an engraved rehaut, with the serial number etched into the metal ring between the dial and sapphire crystal.
This Rolex collector’s watch belongs to the first series of the Submariner 16610 line, making it the latest version to retain the vintage features that collectors appreciate (while also being chronometer-certified, equipped with a QuickDate function, and fitted with a sapphire crystal).
The case is made from 904L stainless steel, measures 40 mm, and is water-resistant to 30 ATM or 1000 ft. It features a notched unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute graduation.
This transitional "Four Lines" model can be identified by its serial number, its signed and stamped Rolex warranty certificate, and its dial with applied and outlined Luminova indices. This collector’s Submariner is in pristine condition and sold as a full set: complete with original Rolex box and papers. This 1991 watch, now over thirty years old, is increasingly hard to find in such well-preserved condition. Its value as a collector's item is significantly enhanced by its state of conservation and original documents.
