Rolex GMT-Master Pepsi 16710 circa 1991, one of the most iconic Rolex timepieces, produced between 1988 and 1999. This legendary watch was widely worn by TWA airline pilots in the 1970s. Upon release, it quickly replaced the Breitling Navitimer on many wrists thanks to its ease of use for tracking multiple time zones and its stylish look with the red and blue "Pepsi" bezel. Over time, the red area of the bezel tends to fade slightly, giving the watch a vintage appeal highly appreciated by collectors.

This automatic watch is a transitional model from the iconic GMT Master reference 1675, featuring an updated date mechanism that makes date setting much easier. Its 48-hour power reserve relies on the Rolex caliber 3185 with 31 jewels, measuring 28.5 mm, renowned for its robustness and reliability—a major reason for its ongoing popularity among enthusiasts. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and the GMT hand, which complements the main hour hand, makes one full dial rotation every 24 hours. Time zone reading is done via the rotating “Pepsi” bezel, and its adjustment is made independently via the winding crown.
