Omega Speedmaster Professional Snoopy Award Limited Edition, NASA tribute to the Apollo 13 mission. Millennium series from 2004. 42mm stainless steel screw-down case in excellent condition, featuring a full-color silkscreened “Silver Snoopy Award – Eyes on the Stars” caseback. Manual-winding mechanical movement, small seconds chronograph with Stop & Go function. Flat second hand, fixed tachymeter bezel (Type B5 - Dot Beneath 70 - Style 1) encircling the Hesalite crystal.

This commemorative Speedmaster chronograph celebrates the famous NASA Apollo 13 mission of April 1970, which included astronauts Jack Swigert (Apollo command module pilot), Fred Haise, and Jim Lovell (mission commander), known for the iconic alert: “Houston, we have a problem.” Their dramatic story was depicted in the film *Apollo 13* starring Tom Hanks.

This extremely limited edition belongs to the NASA Moonwatch Special Editions released by Omega in 2004 (alongside models like the “From the Moon to Mars” Speedmaster) to celebrate the brand’s contribution to space exploration. Omega intensified its R&D efforts to produce a watch capable of withstanding the rigors of spaceflight. Due to its rarity, early production date, and exceptional condition, this model is of high collector interest.

This collector’s timepiece features a 42mm stainless steel case, screw-down back, and 5 ATM water resistance. The large Snoopy logo is silkscreened on the caseback. It is powered by the Omega calibre 1861 Rhodium, Type B5, a manual-winding movement with small seconds and Stop & Go functionality. The black dial features Luminova Moonwatch Type C6 indices, a central flat second hand, and C3 Baton Luminova hour and minute hands. It has a fixed tachymeter bezel and a Hesalite crystal (Category A). The three subdials—hours, minutes, and seconds—are cleanly laid out, with the left subdial featuring the iconic Snoopy “Eyes on the Stars” logo.

The Speedmaster chronograph is an Omega pre-owned watch that has been in production since 1957. Designed for aviation, motorsport, and space conquest, its reliability and features have made it a trusted companion to numerous celebrities in their adventures. Its story and reputation make it one of the most famous and coveted watches of the past 50 years.
