Tudor Heritage Chronograph Grey Montecarlo reference M70330N-001 from 2012, Full Set with both original straps. This collector’s piece is the very first model from Tudor’s Heritage collection. The line launched with a sporty watch evoking the spirit of the 1970s. This pre-owned watch comes Full Set — box, papers, and accessories — in near-mint condition, with the original factory sticker still intact on the caseback.
This chronograph features a 42mm 904L stainless steel case, water-resistant to 150m. It is topped with a bidirectional rotating bezel graduated over 12 hours. This allows for tracking a second time zone, making it a sporty alternative to a traditional GMT watch. The bezel can also be used as a journey totalizer by aligning the marker with the departure time.
This self-winding mechanical chronograph is ideal for motorsport use. Its ETA 2892-DD2054 calibre is engineered to reduce shocks and vibrations thanks to its robust 55-jewel construction. A chronograph module (DD-2054) manufactured by Dubois-Depraz handles the functions of the two sub-dials and controls the screw-down pushers, designed to prevent accidental interruption of the chronograph function.
The dial features a two-tone design with a dominant grey base and black/white checkered details accented in orange. The two sub-dials follow the color codes of the original Tudor Monte-Carlo chronographs from the 1970s racing series. The hour and minute hands are baton-shaped, made of steel, and enhanced with Super-LumiNova for optimal readability. The centrally mounted seconds hand features a pointed orange tip. A date window is positioned at 6 o’clock, all protected by a scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal, free of any cyclops magnifier. The dial is signed with the Tudor shield above the “Tudor Genève” text — a symbol also engraved on the screw-down crown.
This Full Set timepiece blends vintage charm with modern horological expertise, making it a superb acquisition for collectors. As the inaugural model of the Tudor Heritage series — a pillar of the brand’s future development — it holds a key place in the brand’s history.
This watch is powered by a reliable, precise movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a 42-hour power reserve. The high-quality Dubois-Depraz chronograph module is paired with screw-down pushers identical to those on the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. This chronograph is water-resistant and equipped with a 12-hour rotating bezel. Both original straps are included: a NATO-style strap in vintage black and grey Heritage colors, and a 904L steel bracelet with removable links and a folding clasp featuring a safety lock system.
