Collectible Rolex watch: vintage GMT Master II ref. 16750 with Pepsi bezel from 1986, automatic movement certified chronometer by the COSC. This vintage watch is in excellent condition despite its age. It is powered by the Rolex 3075 automatic date movement. This calibre was the first generation of the model to feature a two-position crown (Twinlock): the first, known as quickset, allows the date to be set independently of the time, and the second position allows hour and minute setting with stop-seconds functionality (for precise time-setting to the second). This calibre beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour for improved accuracy.

The dial features the inscription "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" at the bottom, with the marking "Swiss-T<25" visible at 6 o'clock. The black dial with white text includes a red GMT hand with large arrowhead that displays the second time zone via the red and blue bezel. The Twinlock screw-down crown is protected by crown guards and is signed with the Rolex logo. The hesalite crystal (plexiglass) features a Cyclops lens over the date window. The 40mm case is water-resistant and features classic pierced lugs.

This watch model, produced from 1981 to 1988, is considered a transitional reference. Its collectability is further enhanced by its status as the iconic best seller of the 1970s, worn by many prominent personalities of the time. Throughout those years, the Rolex GMT Master was not only seen on screens but also gained massive popularity among frequent travelers and influential figures. A trusted companion for globetrotters, it became a favorite among major airlines, with its red-and-blue Pepsi bezel earning its place as a must-have in the world of aviation and travel.
