Vintage Rolex GMT Master 1675 automatic date watch from 1976, featuring a 24-hour Pepsi bezel and a large-arrow GMT hand on a bidirectional rotating bezel. This collectible timepiece is powered by an automatic Rolex Breguet hairspring movement, caliber 1575 with 26 jewels. It is built with a shock-resistant “Kif Ultraflex” architecture, a central second hand, an independent red-arrow GMT hour hand, a date window, and boasts a 48-hour power reserve when fully wound. The “hack” movement operates at 19,800 vibrations per hour and is officially certified as a chronometer by the COSC in Geneva, as indicated by the inscription "superlative chronometer official certified" at the bottom of the dial.
This collector’s watch is one of the best-sellers of the Rolex brand, and it gained widespread popularity throughout the '60s and '70s. Worn by astronaut Jack Swigert alongside Fred Haise and Jim Lovell during the Apollo 13 mission, one of its most legendary on-screen appearances is in Ian Fleming’s *Goldfinger*, where agent 007 James Bond faces off with a captivating rival: the fiery lead pilot of Pussy Galore’s Flying Circus, portrayed by Honor Blackman. She wears a Rolex 1675 with a red and blue bezel, hence the nickname "Pussy Galore," affectionately given by collectors across the Atlantic to this charming model from the seventies.
The Rolex 1675 presented here is in perfect collector's condition. The 1575 caliber is developed from the Rolex 1530 movement. It has a diameter of 28.5 mm and a thickness of 6.47 mm, making it discreet and comfortable to wear under a shirt cuff, suitable for both men’s and women’s wrists.
Black dial with white inscriptions and "eggshell" indexes, red-arrow GMT hand, and the “Swiss-T<25” marking at 6 o'clock, indicating the use of Tritium for the luminous markers, which have acquired a light patina over time. Screw-down Twinlock winding crown (5.3 mm), plexiglass crystal with Cyclops date magnifier, waterproof case with drilled lugs for easy strap changes. Bidirectional rotating bezel with 24-hour markings in red and blue—nicknamed “US Flag” or “Pepsi” in the collector’s world. Stainless steel screw-down caseback, 40 mm in diameter.
This vintage watch, presented on a royal blue NATO strap, is easy to wear in any setting—whether in casual-chic environments or the great outdoors. The waterproof case provides solid resistance to dust and splashes.
