A collector’s timepiece with a black “tri-compax” dial, its timeless face features 12 luminous Luminova hour markers, framed by a tachymeter bezel mounted on a case with dual pushers. This edition houses the superb Omega C-1863 caliber, a more luxurious version of the C-1861 found in the standard editions. For greater precision, Omega opted for machined springs instead of wire ones, and factory-set regulation standards comparable to COSC certification. A high-quality rhodium plating gives this movement a far more refined look than those of the classic Speedmaster editions. The movement beats at a rate of six vibrations per second, or 21,000 vibrations per hour, regulated by a Glucydur balance spring — the same material used by Rolex in its luxury calibers.
