Vintage watch Omega Seamaster 600 from 1963. A symbol of a time when nautical sports were more associated with classic, refined elegance than with the technical world of wetsuits and professional diving gear, this beautiful Swiss-made watch offers water splash resistance but does not guarantee the immersion capabilities of its successor, the Seamaster 600 Proplof.
Manual-winding Omega mechanical movement, caliber 601, copper-toned with 17 jewels. The caseback is screwed down and the crown has two positions (setting and running). The dial is a pearly white in excellent condition, featuring baton hour markers, black inscriptions, a discreet minute track at 60th intervals, and a metallic Omega logo insert at the top of the dial.
The flat screw-down caseback is decorated with the brand’s iconic seahorse and engraved with the Seamaster model name. This fine timepiece from the Bienne-based manufacture is typical of the "Business Chic" aesthetic of its era. With its classic shape and 34 mm size, this elegant collector’s item is ideal for enthusiasts of “gent-casual” watches, regardless of wrist size. Designed as an alternative to the Rolex Explorer or Air-King lines, the Seamaster range retained its timeless style before evolving into the iconic line of diving watches worn in the years that followed by Jean-Yves Cousteau, Comex divers, and even James Bond, Her Majesty’s famous 007 agent.
