Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso automatic, Grande Date with day and night phase indication. This 2007 model reinterprets the timeless Reverso design with a contemporary touch: featuring a large rectangular reversible (Jumbo) case and a silver dial adorned with a minute track and an unusual double date window at 11 o’clock. Powered by the automatic caliber 970, this watch is water resistant to 3 ATM, fitted with a sapphire crystal, a deployant clasp, and its original strap.

An iconic timepiece for evening wear or special occasions, the Reverso was born in the 1930s following a meeting between César Trey, a close associate of Jacques-David LeCoultre, and a British Army officer stationed in India and passionate about polo. This led to the creation by Jaeger-LeCoultre of a robust watch with an ingenious reversible case designed to protect the glass from shocks during "active" use. The first series were even sent to India for testing by polo players.

The model presented here features a Day & Night indicator via a window at the bottom of the dial, showing the sun's position through a polychrome engraving. This elegant timepiece from the Mostra-Store Grands Classiques collection comes Full-Set with its original box and papers. The deployant clasp strap is in perfect condition, and the reverse caseback is free of any engraving or personalized coat of arms.

The in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 970 is a self-winding movement with 25 jewels, Geneva stripes decoration, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a power reserve of forty-eight hours.
