Franck Muller Conquistador Master of Complications Curvex steel collector's watch from 2002. A truly distinctive timepiece with a lacquered black dial and exceptional finishing. The automatic mechanical movement has been reworked to chronometer standards by Franck Muller. This calibre features Geneva stripes, a bi-directional rotor, and a central insert marking the red railway minute track, highlighted with large Luminova-coated numerals. The model name "Conquistador" appears in red beneath the central axis, while the “Swiss Made” marking is displayed in red at the bottom of the dial. The round date window without magnifier is positioned at 6 o'clock and benefits from a quickset function. The "fly wing" hour and minute hands are joined by a red spear-tipped seconds hand.
This luxury timepiece is part of the Master of Complications series created by Franck Muller. These exceptional watches follow a unique manufacturing cycle: from initial sketch by Franck Muller to final assembly in the manufacture, each watch is monitored and controlled at every stage. Depending on the model, a Master of Complications Conquistador movement contains between 700 and 1483 components for the most complex references. In 2002, Franck Muller was awarded first prize in the Men's Watches category at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, in recognition of his patented innovations and distinctive watchmaking concept — "Watchland" — a facility that brings together under one roof all stages of production: design, watchmaking, assembly, case manufacturing, engraving, regulation, testing, and after-sales service.
