Pre-owned Cartier Tank Must CTM-6 (Large Model) Hand-wound mechanical Vermeil 31 × 23 mm Caliber Cartier 78-1 (17 jewels, 21,600 vph, Incabloc, ~44 h)  Leather strap of your choice.

"In Paris, a Tank doesn’t just tell time—it defines style."

He or she moves through the day with an economy of motion. In the morning, the watch receives a few turns of the crown — a discreet, almost musical ritual that awakens the caliber and brings order to the hours. In the streets of Aix or Paris, the Tank Must keeps its poise; the rectangle slips naturally beneath a cuff, the dial lights up like a well-composed page. In the evening, a simple change of strap transforms its character: smooth calfskin for dinner, matte alligator for a concert, nubuck for a weekend in Provence. Nothing ostentatious — only the quiet certainty of a watch designed to accompany life, not outpace it.

Produced between 1993 and 1996, the Tank Must CTM-6 marks the final chapter of the hand-wound Must Tank series before Cartier suspended production. The line itself, born in 1977, was a bold reinterpretation of the original 1917 Tank, with refined vermeil cases, Roman numerals, and a blue cabochon crown. The 1995 CTM-6 offered here preserves the mechanical soul and proportions of the early Tanks—an expression of Parisian chic and enduring craftsmanship.

A 31 × 23 mm vermeil case, warm and smooth on the wrist, protects the Cartier 78-1 hand-wound caliber with 17 jewels, Incabloc, and ~44-hour power reserve. The ivory dial with black Roman numerals and railroad minute track captures the quiet refinement of the 1990s era. The leather strap, customizable in tone and texture, completes the ensemble. Fully serviced and regulated by Mostra’s in-house workshop in Aix-en-Provence. Refined, unisex, and architectural, the Tank Must CTM-6 suits business attire as easily as evening elegance. Its proportions remain timelessbalanced, discreet, and beautifully modern. 1995 vintage, from 1993–1996 production run, serviced and regulated by Mostra. Comes with new leather strap, Mostra authenticity certificate, presentation box, and 3-year warranty.
