Produced between 1993 and 1996, the Tank Must CTM-6 marks the final chapter of the hand-wound Must Tank series before Cartier suspended production. The line itself, born in 1977, was a bold reinterpretation of the original 1917 Tank, with refined vermeil cases, Roman numerals, and a blue cabochon crown. The 1995 CTM-6 offered here preserves the mechanical soul and proportions of the early Tanks—an expression of Parisian chic and enduring craftsmanship.

A 31 × 23 mm vermeil case, warm and smooth on the wrist, protects the Cartier 78-1 hand-wound caliber with 17 jewels, Incabloc, and ~44-hour power reserve. The ivory dial with black Roman numerals and railroad minute track captures the quiet refinement of the 1990s era. The leather strap, customizable in tone and texture, completes the ensemble.
