This recognition was solidified with the production of the renowned Type 20 chronograph—designed to meet the strict technical specifications set by the French Ministry of Defense.

The Vixa Type 20 remains an icon of 1950s military watchmaking. Equipped with a flyback Hanhart movement, excellent legibility, and outstanding precision, it was specifically created for French fighter pilots who required a reliable, easy-to-read tool watch under extreme conditions.
