Military watch – Vintage British CWC W-10 men’s/women’s model from 1991 with quartz movement, black dial featuring Tritium-lumed markers and 12-hour railway-style scale, compliant with the UK Ministry of Defence specifications and NATO Military Watch standards. This watch, manufactured by Cabot Watch Company in 1991, is resistant to dust and splashes. Powered by a robust Swiss ETA H555.15 quartz movement, it is housed in a shock-resistant case with fixed spring bars to prevent loss during field missions. Used by the Royal Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force, this model is a sound investment and an ideal entry point into vintage military watch collecting.
The G-10 designation comes from the form number that British service members had to complete in order to receive their issued watch from army PX stores. This watch is in excellent condition with a beautiful natural patina and comes fitted with its regulation Grey-Green (6645) NATO strap in like-new condition, fully compliant with NATO Mil. Specs. The luminescent Tritium used on the dial and hands is marked by a circled "T" just below the CWC logo at the top of the dial.
This Royal Navy-issue timepiece (NATO code 6645-0552) in excellent condition was distributed as standard kit from the 1990s to 2000s. It was worn by Royal Navy forces as well as British Marine troops deployed across all major theaters of operation during that period: the Gulf War (Iraq and Kuwait), Yugoslavia (UNPROFOR under the United Nations). It is also one of the last military watches to have been officially issued to a regular army and used in real combat conditions.
