Royal Air Force Pilot's Quartz Chronograph, fitted from the 1980s to 2000, this watch equipped British pilots engaged in all theaters of operations throughout this period: Gulf War (Iraq and Kuwait) Yugoslavia (UNPROFOR under the banner of the United Nations). Some helicopter pilots were also equipped with it after 1990. It is also one of the last Military Watches to have been provided in an army and used in the field in wartime conditions.
Seiko Military Quartz watch from 1986, black railroad dial calibrated at 12 o'clock, luminescent numerals enhanced with Tritum according to the specifications of the British Ministry of Defense and Military Watch NATO specifications, This watch offers resistance to dust and against splashing water, it is also equipped with fixed pumps so as not to lose it during operations.
For the record, the P on the dial corresponds to the use of the luminescent compound Promethium instead of Tritium (a weakly radioactive material previously used on the dials).
The arrow stamped in the center of the case back is the "Broad Arrow", mark of possession of the British crown, a symbol that has adorned all the heads of nails used to assemble the frames of British Royal Navy vessels since the 16th century.
It should also be noted that this watch was developed on the basis of the Seiko Sports 150 model reviewed and corrected Mil.Specs, the watch is accompanied by its "NATO" strap in Gray Green RAF (Phoenix) color also provided and which also meets to Nato Mil. specs,
