Since the 2000s, Ralf Tech has become a global reference in the world of professional diving, equipping elite units and explorers who push the limits of underwater exploration. Designed to withstand the most extreme pressures and the harshest environments, the “The Beast Electric” watch is an essential measuring instrument for those who live under water. Below the surface, the sea sets the tempo. Gloves thicken touch, visibility grows scarce, and one quickly understands that a true diver’s watch is an instrument. Original Black fits this use: crisp reading in turbid water, positive controls, a case ready to hit the steel ladder without flinching. On the wrist of a recreational diver as well as an operator accustomed to great depths, it measures useful time rather than show.

Born in the lineage of The Beast launched in late 2022, the Electric version makes this extreme model accessible to more people while preserving the tool DNA of the series. The 47,7 mm 316L steel case with black sandblasted PVD kills stray reflections; the matte black dial (95%) recedes to let the markers speak, hands and indexes loaded with high-visibility Super-Luminova C5. The 6 mm domed sapphire with anti-reflective treatment, the 120-click unidirectional bezel (ISO 6425) and the protected screw-down crown form a set designed for action and legibility in real conditions. Water-resistant 3000 m / 9900 ft, the watch adopts a matte black Ceramfine insert, and an exclusive encapsulation system with numbered back. Made in France, production is limited to 100 pieces.

On the engine side, the RTE001 Long Range is a micro-hybrid movement: a lithium battery powers a quartz oscillator to guarantee constant precision, with an autonomy announced up to 100,000 hours (nearly 12 years). It takes up the “mecha-quartz” spirit of the WRX generations while simplifying the energy path to gain in reliability and endurance. In daily use, it ensures a steady rate and spaced-out servicing, without giving up the construction of a tool-watch.  On the wrist, the 26 mm lug width accepts a wide range of straps. Original Black is delivered on black silicone, with a second black Zulu strap, 26 mm pin buckle, and an Explorer polycarbonate case. Whether it’s a run to the slipway or a cruise with stopovers, the kit goes on quickly, holds the distance, and rinses without a second thought.  For recreational diving as well as more committed exploration, you benefit from the crisp rotation of the bezel, the frank night-time legibility, and a dial designed for action. Out of the water, the matte silhouette keeps a utilitarian look that moves from boat to field without effort.
